A rich, traditional tapestry gives the Croix Kilim Throw Pillow the grace and sophistication of a timeworn heirloom. The word Kilim is of Turkish origin and is used to describe pile-less rugs made using a flat-weave technique. These beautiful textiles were not just made in Turkey - their origins range from regions like the Balkans to Northern Africa, to name a couple. The Croix and all of our Kilim pillows are made of recycled Turkish Kilim rugs. It holds its own as an eye-catching accent of soft powdery blue and a muted brown, but also mixes well with other pillows in lush patterns, prints and fabrics. Unlike traditional kilim pillows that are woven of wool, ours is updated in a thick, organic cotton that gives it a softer hand-feel. Due to their handcrafted nature, each pillow will be slightly unique.
